Hi there! I'm Molly Thoms, formerly Molly Murray. Some might say that I wear a lot of hats... Mother, Doula, Real Estate Agent...
While I used to practice in-person doula work full time and run a bustling doula agency here in Cincinnati and N. Kentucky, as my youngest was born and Coronavirus became our reality, I've switched gears. I focus on real estate as my main gig...and I teach childbirth classes and provide virtual doula support and doula mentoring as a continual passion project...
I took my first doula training in 2012 in Louisville, KY with Thérèse Hak-Kuhn. Thérèse and that doula training changed my life. Before we left, she said, ''You're a doula the minute you walk out of this room.''
No matter where life takes me, I'll always be a doula.
I believe that all women and families (all people) deserve to be fully informed of their choices and treated with dignity and respect as they navigate their unique journey towards and through pregnancy, birth, and parenting.
Since 2012, I have attended over 300 births. My training includes ToLabor, CAPPA, Birthing From Within, VBAC Facts, Rockin' Dads, Gena Kirby's Rebozo Training, Spinning Babies, and a Placenta Encapsulation Training (though I no longer offer this service).
I'm currently offering remote and ala carte services such as Pregnancy Support, Childbirth + Parenting Education, Virtual Doula Services, and Doula Mentoring..
You and your family are in experienced, knowledgeable, and compassionate doula hands! Whether you are in Cincinnati or Northern Kentucky, planning an unmedicated homebirth, a natural birth in the hospital, an induction, a birth with an epidural, a water birth, a vbac or even a cesarean birth, I look forward to working with you and supporting you through one of the most transformational days of your life; the birth of your baby!
